IVY external hard disk

IVY is an external hard disk which shows the content of the hard disk on its skin. When no data is stored on IVY, its skin will remain blank. When you purchase IVY, it appears to be a normal hard disk, but when you start using it by storing data, it will alter its skin visualising the content of the hard disk, using an OLED screen. The representation of the data is abstract and personal. Over time, the content of the hard disk will change and the representation of the data will change along with this.

Oven glove

The oven glove is made of a smart material. The parts of the oven glove that have been in contact with heat will get thicker, so it can bear more heath. In this way the glove adapts to your hand, making the glove stronger at the parts of your hands with which you get food out of your oven. The optimal state of the glove will be reached when the glove is used several times.

Wear table

If you often lay your feet on the table, your feet will form the table, which is made of a smart material. There will be an imprint in the table at the place where your feet normally lay. The more you use the table as a foot bench the more personal it gets. This place on the table will be your spot.The table in this concept could be replaced with another piece of furniture.

Urn

The ashes of a deceased will be mixed with flower seeds and put in an urn. In time a flower will grow from the seeds and are fed by the ashes of the deceased. The urn functions as a flowerpot and the deceased will live further in the flowers.
